Why Advertising Magnets Are A Great Way To Promote Your Business

Advertising magnets are a great source for any company that wants to increase its name recognition among the large community. It is strange to realize, but people will put magnets for almost anything on their fridge, just because they are colorful, decorative, and useful for posting notes and notices. If they see your company's name every day on your advertising magnets, it might not cause them to immediately buy your product, but you can bet that when they come in contact with it in the real world, they will be more likely to be unconsciously receptive to your message and the products you convey and your advertising magnets might just lead to an increase in sales.

There are many important things to consider when designing advertising magnets. One of them is that the design must be appealing but not jarring or over flamboyant – unless this is your company's message. You don't necessarily want them to be consciously aware of your advertising magnets so that when they see your brand name while driving around town they will say “hey, that's like on the magnet on the fridge.” Rather, you want your advertising magnets to unconsciously penetrate their defences, so that when they see your brand they will be subtlely, but persuasively reminded of home, of food which they get from the fridge, and hence of comfort and security.

When you design advertising magnets you should keep in mind the kind of message you wish to convey. If you are advertising a company that they are unlikely to see around town, such as a consulting firm, or a shipping company then you want to include contact information on your advertising magnets, such as a website or phone number, or both. If you are advertising a brand that already has recognition and physical prominence in the area, however, you might just want a really appealing logo with the brand name. They are likely to know what your company is already, and pass it as part of their daily routine, and the slick looking logo uninterrupted by any unneeeded information on your advertising magnets is more likely to make them want to stop by when they happen to be in the area. If you run a grocery store, hardware store, or restaurant, or some similar retail or service type job, then this might be just the way to go. Don't give people more information than they need if all you have to do is to get them in the door.
