Get Your Business Seen With These Amazing Bumper Stickers
If you want a fun and profitable thing to do consider design your own bumper stickers. All you need is a few great ideas, a computer and printer and some sticker paper. Sticker paper for printers is available in the stationary store or office supply store. You can get one bumper sticker out of the top of each sheet, and another from the bottom, so it is really quite economical.
To begin with a good design needs to be funny, an ad, or make a statement. You can actually make some decent cash making up bumper stickers that advertise a local business. Make up a few sample bumper stickers for very little money out of pocket with the logo and name of a local business. You can scan the logo (for demonstration purposes only) out of an ad in the paper or from a flyer. Take the sample bumper stickers down to the business and offer them a dozen at a decent price, two dozen at an even better price. You could easily do up one sample bumper sticker for a good ten businesses in one evening and do a full run of the town in the morning.
If you have a great sense of humour or a friend who makes up his own jokes, you could easily go into business with funny bumper stickers. Come up with three or four great one-liners and you are on your way to earning the big bucks! You can make your own bumper stickers or you can sell the rights to a company that specializes in them. It really depends on whether you have the time and money to market your bumper stickers. Otherwise you could just sell the idea.
Should you choose to print them yourself you need to know a few things. First, the print should be large, dark and in an easy-to-read font. If you use a cursive script in yellow on a white background, no one will ever read your message on the bumper stickers. Choose a simple font like Times New Roman, Ariel or Verdana. The background can be any color you wish, just make sure that the text is a color that stands out, like yellow on blue or white on red.
Any artwork should be simple and clear. Photos do not work well because they are too detailed to be seen from a car six feet away. Stick to logos or clip art with simple, clean lines and few colors for your bumper stickers.
To make it rainproof, you may want to laminate the front of it, but keep in mind that this will add drastically to the cost. Another great option is artist’s spray which seals the paper immediately and doesn’t cost that much. Spray away and sell!
